Salary: £425 - £450 per shift, negotiable

Contracts Manager, Groundworks & RC. Residential, Commercial and Schools schemes. Additional role for an energetic Contracts Manager to develop with an expanding contractor working in London and to the north and west of the M25. £425 - £450 negotiable plus vehicle.

Contracts Manager. An opportunity to develop your career. To work for an expanding Groundworks, RC and Civil Engineering contractor that is steadily picking up additional work. You must have a current driving licence. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working as a Contracts Manager to work with a growing company and be part of a successful business. Working area is generally within 50-75 miles of Luton.

Your Profile:

  • Civil Engineering background.
  • Working for Groundworks, RC or Civil Engineering contractors.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years practical experience working for contractors.
  • Keen to take on additional supervisory and management responsibility.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and good man management skills.
  • Demonstrable skills in running profitable projects.

Responsible. You will be capable of taking responsibility for live and impending contracts, meeting clients, programming and maintaining strong links with the Commercial side of the business. Repeat business is an important element for this company and your negotiations must reflect this. You must be IT literate and capable of dealing with all reporting issues linked to programmes and performance. Your role would mainly involve site attendance with a couple of head office visits each week.

The Company is a Groundworks, RC and Civil Engineering contractor that has been working on multiple projects with repeat clients. Working for major housing developers, constructing roads, sewers, groundworks, and associated infrastructure for new residential developments. Also, working for main contractors and Local Authorities on Schools & Civils Infrastructure works. Contracts range in value from £250k to £4m.
