Land Surveyor required for a contractor working on the Crossrail project; specifically involved in construction work on tunnels and shafts. A Civil Engineer with extensive survey experience may also suit the role.
You will need to have proven skills in providing and maintaining accurate vertical and horizontal alignment and controls preceding, during and after construction operations. Competence in recording and maintaining control data will be necessary as there will be extensive monitoring. At least 3-4 years of relevant expertise is required.
Recent BIW or similar software useage is necessary as are good oral and written communication skills.
Initially this assignment will be on a contract basis; however it may develop into a permanent role after a trial period.
Working hours will reflect site hours and whilst they are likely to commence with day shifts it is likely that they will soon involve evening, night and weekend work as the project proceeds.
