Planner for Groundworks and RC Contractor. This role is an additional requirement for a successful Contractor that is taking an increasing share of the market, working on Commercial, Educational, HA and Private schemes.

The Contractor has been operating for the last decade and has seen its turnover growing to over £25 million this year. Working in the Groundworks and RC frame sector, they have a number of repeat clients with whom work is negotiated.

The Projects range from £400k for small schemes to £4-5m packages to include site clearance, excavation, drainage, piling, sub-structural and structural RC basements and frames. Much of the work is carried out by the in-house workforce with excellent backup on the technical side.

As Planner you must be capable of taking on the challenges required to work with demanding main contractors, whilst achieving fairly tight programmes and end dates. You would ideally have formal or tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or associated disciplines, probably at least 5-7 years UK relevant field experience, working for RC or Groundworks contractors or main contractors with D&B expertise.

Salary expectations are not a limiting factor for the right candidate, £40,000 is a guide; you can expect to benefit from the continuing growth of this company and the associated promotion prospects within the organisation.
