New position with successful contractor as they continue to win further work and expand their scope of operations.
Senior Project Manager capable of working on the pre construction elements prior to taking the scheme to site and successfully running this technically demanding and large Groundworks and RC project. Design & Build experience is essential as well as having a very strong commercial background.
This ambitious and progressive London based contractor is looking for someone who has the ability to look at all aspects of the project and is capable of working with and guiding the client to appreciate the value engineering that can be brought to bear to benefit all parties.
Initially heavily involved with all aspects of pre construction works you will be expected to have a strong voice on all elements of the project and to use your experience in offering cost savings and efficiencies where appropriate. Design evaluation, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Programming and Planning, Local Authority and Utility compliance will all feel the benefit of your years in the field.
The Project is a multi million £ scheme in the Midlands, so you must already live in the area as the project has a programme of over 2 years. You will have extensive, 10-15 years, experience in the heavy Civils area, Demolition, Piling, Deep Excavations, Sub and superstructural concrete.
Qualified to Degree level in Civil Engineering, you will have had at least 10-15 years practical site experience in a management capacity working for a specialist RC, Demolition or Groundworks sub contractor on large projects. Design & Build expertise is essential. A high level of commercial skills is expected, whilst strong oral and written English communication is necessary. You will be expected to give a strong lead in promoting Health & Safety.
The Salary is negotiable with a £70-80,000 guide and customised package to suit the individual. Applications will only be considered from people currently legally permitted to live and work in the UK.
