Project Manager with substantial Civil Engineering expertise working on major earthworks, muck away and piling packages. Located at Heathrow, this is an immediate start. You should ideally have current airside clearance.
The Project involves 500,000 m3 of muck away, so you must be conversant with the logistics involved in an operation of this nature and the additional security issues that come into force on airside operations.
An Engineering background as a Civil Engineer steadily progressing your career with contractors on large civil projects will have given you the necessary skills to run a project of this nature.
The Client is a well known contractor with experience in working on major Civils projects and is steadily picking up work
Qualifications in Civil Engineering, with current SMSTS and CSCS, and at least 5-7 years working on large scale civil engineering projects in the UK. You will be expected to have good programming and IT skills, sound communication skills in both written and oral, an ability to deal with people at all levels and a clear commercial understanding of value engineering.
Salary guide from £45 - £50k initially, based on experience to date. Applications will only be considered from people currently legally entitled to live and work in the UK.
