Project Manager, Senior. Reputable contractor. D&B experience. Initially office based programming, planning, method statements; start up procedures, working with commercial side on packages, design evaluation. Mixed use commercial / residential in west London. £60-65k.

Senior Project Manager. Demolition, Piling, Groundworks and RC frame, moving on to build, envelope, M&E and fit out packages. Design & Build experience is essential. Additional position for an ambitious and progressive contractor. Initially heavily involved with Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Programming and Planning, Local Authority and Utility compliance. You will move to a site based role once it is running.

The Project is a £9-11m new build mixed commercial / residential development in west London. The scheme starts in the summer of 2012, so you will immediately be involved in pre-construction works. Experience in Design and Build is essential with a working knowledge of Demolition, ground clearance, Piling, RC, Groundworks and RC framework, M&E, Envelope / Windows and Fit out packages all involved.Your experience in Design and Build with the relevant commercial implications will be fully utilised. You must have a strong and confident personality, able to deal with clients or main contractors.

Project Management. This is an ideal opportunity if you have a strong Engineering background and have worked as the No1 on projects over £8-10m for 4-5 years, or on larger schemes.You should have good Commercial appreciation and the ability to use value engineering skills to assist the client and the contractor. You must be capable of clear oral and written communication; full IT literacy is essential.

Qualified to Degree level in Civil Engineering, you will have had at least 10 years practical site experience working for a specialist RC, Demolition or Groundworks sub contractor. Design & Build expertise is essential. A Site Engineering background, leading to a Senior / Project Engineering role, working on similar sized projects is essential.You must be technically competent, with the ability to deal with site staff, clients, suppliers and Professional staff alike.

The Contractor is well known and respected in London and the south-east. They are seeking an excellent candidate and are offering a £60-65k plus salary to demonstrate their intention.
