General Foreman, RC and Groundworks, for this extremely progressive contractor. 53 week contract programme, to work in Liverpool. Salary from £45 - £50k initially, based on experience to date.
The Project is a new build multi-storey, 11 floor RC frame in Liverpool. You should ideally come from a carpentry or steel fixing background and be able to run and organise a labour force of some 40-45 men, producing high quality work in a limited time frame, keeping Health & Safety issues as a priority, whilst ensuring that the project hits commercial targets.
New build D&B project of £7.5m with substantial and complicated sub-structure. You will take the project through structural completion to fit out and handover. This is phase 1 of potentially 5 phases in the client’s scheme. The frame is post tensioned, so relevant experience would be an advantage.
The Contractor is well known in London and the south-east and is expanding their spread into the Midlands and the North with recent contract awards. Covering Civils, RC and Groundworks work, specialising in challenging and complicated projects the Contractor has a very good reputation within the Construction industry. Clients include major Contractors and Developers as well as the Corporate clients and Government Departments.
Qualifications are not essential; CSCS minimum acceptable with ideally 5 day SMSTS and First Aid. You will have had at least 7-10 years practical site experience working for a specialist RC or Groundworks sub contractor. You will be expected to have some IT skills and be able to read all site issued drawings.
Based in Liverpool or the north-west you must live within 1 hour’s travel of central Liverpool. This is a long term contract role with a guide salary of £45 to £50k. Applications will only be considered from people currently legally entitled to live and work in the UK.
