Site Engineer. Groundworks contract for a sub contractor. Must have current SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS. Enabling works package. Immediate start.
The Project. Enabling works to include a new sub station. New build residential development on a brownfield site.
Location. Brixton.
The Role. Providing all Engineering input, supervising a small gang of groundworkers and 1 or 2 machines, daily record keeping and recording / site diary, calling off materials, resolving day to day issues, raising RFI’s where relevant.
Duration. Initially 4-5 weeks. Extended duration potentially available as the contractor is currently pricing the groundworks package.
Your skills. Civil Engineer, ideally degree qualified, with good oral and written skills working for recognised groundworks or RC subcontractors in London and the south-east. Must have current SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS. Must be capable of running a small site and liaising with a visiting Contracts Manager.
Remuneration. £17ph neg.
